1. PORTO KATSIKI (LEFKADA)
Our first visit to the most beautiful beach of the Ionian, the breath-taking Porto Katsiki for a swim

2. FISCARDO (KEFALONIA)
The largest island in the Ionian Pelagos with its many alterations in landscapes and its varied natural beauties. Long sandy beaches, picturesque bays with turquoise blue water, impressive caves and rare geological formations captivate the visitor. The ornament of the island, the only village left untouched by the mayor earthquakes of 1953-Fiscardo.A short stay to relax at one of the restaurants for a meal and enough time for a stroll.

3. ITHACA
Home of Homer`s hero Odysseus, legend history and a connecting point for spiritual people. The hospitable romantic island Ithaca offers an ideal place for a peaceful holiday, interesting tours and exploration. A harmonious combination of sea and mountain with magical bays and enchanting beaches, picturesque pathways and traditional houses. No limit on the duration of the stay.

4. PAPANICOLIS CAVE (MEGANISI)
A visit to Meganisi, where the cave of which in 1940 during world war II was used as a hideout by Navigator latridis of the legendary submarine Papanicoli, is located (The Nidri Star I enters the cave for photographs).

5. SCORPIOS-SPARTI-SCORPIDI
(The three islands of Onassis)
A guided cruise round the 3 islands with an afternoon stop on the island of Greek Tycoon Aristotle Onassis Scorpios for a swim.

6. MADOURI
the Island on which the great poet Aristotle Valaoritis was born raised and wrote his poems. From 1990 it has been characterized as a preservable museum and was inherited by his great grandchildren.

Routes of NIDRI STAR III starting from Nidri and vary depending on the days

1. First route twice a week to Paxos and Antipaxos

2. Second route, three times a week just for swimming at Agiofili beache, Porto Katsiki and Egremni

3. Third route, the islands of Lefkada Kalamos and Kastos (three times a week)

There is one standard daily cruise that M/S Christina offer.

We are delighted to announce that for this Summer we will once again be running our stunning Forgotten Islands Cruise.

Taking in the sights of Kastos and Kalamos, this cruise is a wonderful combination of sightseeing, swimming in crystal clear waters and relaxing on board – perfect for everyone.

Departs from Nidri harbour at 9am, and returns at 6pm

Includes stops on Meganisi, Formekula, Kastos, Kalamos and Skorpios
Includes the famous Christina buffet lunch, freshly made on board and served with local wine
Provides guests with the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the clearest waters – snorkelling equipment provided on board
Is accompanied by guiding on the microphone, local history, useful information and the thrilling Onassis/Skorpios story (in English, plus other languages as available.

Board in the morning at Nidri harbour, choose your place for the day, and relax. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as we cruise down the Meganisi channel in the morning sun

1st stop: the cave of Papanikolis on Meganisi
2nd stop: Formekula island, an outcrop of rock in crystal clear waters, perfect for a morning swim or snorkel (equipment provided)
3rd stop: Kastos village, Kastos island: a tiny settlement of traditional stone houses built around the fishing harbor. Time to enjoy a walk around the village and a coffee or ice cream in one of the harbourside cafes. If you are incredibly lucky the village church of Agios Ioannis (Saint John) will be unlocked. Breathtakingly intricate and beautiful paintings adorn the ceiling and walls
4th stop: Limni beach, Kastos Island. The white beach, turquoise waters, complex rock formations and secluded location make for a stunning setting for a swim before lunch. The famous Christina buffet lunch is served on board here with local wine and soft drinks
5th stop: Asproyiali beach, Kalamos Island. One of the most beautiful beaches in the Ionian. A pine forest stretching down to the dazzling white beach, the highlight of the cruise for many people. The white sands under the water create the most amazing colour scheme for an afternoon swim
6th stop: Skorpios Island. Onassis’private playground from the 1960’s, now the luxury retreat for a Russian billionaire. Cruise around and hear the story.

The Odysseia team is on the harbour to answer any inquiry you may have, just pop along for a chat – we are here for you. Our daily excursions leave at 9.30am.
Not only visiting Lefkada but taking in the neighboring islands of Meganissi, Scorpios and Madouri.
